Duties of Council Members
· Review issues
and agenda items prior to Council meetings;
· Identify issues for consideration at Council meetings;
· Read materials prior to meetings;
· Attend meetings of the Council;
· Participate actively in Council discussions; and
· Represent Council at selected meetings of boards and commissions.

Mr. Garf Stevenson, Chairperson Has farmed since 1950, has acted as the president of various agri-based Saskatchewan businesses, including the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool, XCAN Grain Limited and CPS Food Limited and has represented Saskatchewan and Canada on various international missions. Garf is the Chairperson of the AFC. |

Dr. Ken Rasmussen, Vice-Chairperson Is a professor at the University of Regina, recognized as an expert in public policy, he brings a wealth of experience working with various boards and commissions. Ken is the Vice-Chairperson of the AFC. |

Ms. Audrey Hinz Is a retired grain and livestock farmer, possesses considerable experience working with marketing boards and has an excellent understanding of financial management issues. |

Mr. Don Tait Is an active wheat and pulse farmer, poses considerable experience in chairing boards and posses considerable accounting and financial management skills. |

Mr. Ken Bender Is a retired teacher and active grain producer in the Neudorf area. He has a strong history of involvement in various co-operatives serving in the capacity as a Board Member at the local level and as a Delegate provincially. He also served as Chairperson of the Regional College Board of Governors and participated in provincial economic development initiatives. In 2004 Ken received the Co-operative Order of Merit. |

Mr. Corey Senft Is an active grain and livestock farmer in the Lipton area. |
